Cool Dog Tricks - Teaching the Frisbee Catch

Training for this starts out the same as most cool dog tricks. Simple. Easy. Natural.

In this case introduce the Frisbee by letting your dog eat out of it.

After he's done with dinner get down on the floor, roll and shake the Frisbee to get his attention.

Then act like you're going to roll or throw the Frisbee - only don't release it.

Once he realizes he's been faked out and goes for the toy offer it to him. After he latches on to it make sure he has a firm grip. Then praise him with your happy voice. You know the one.

Do this a few times until he gets the hang of possessing the Frisbee.
